SPIKE-LESS PALM TRIMMING
Be kind to your palms! Have you ever noticed how some coconut palms have many small holes in their trunks? This is not normal or the way it’s supposed to look. Those holes come from spiked climbing stirrups and can become gateways for pathogens and/ or diseases to enter the tree. Coconuts and other palms have single growth, meaning when the bark is injured the tree doesn’t have a way to seal or make new growth to cover those injuries. This is why we only offer spike-less palm services to trim, clean, harvest coconuts, or to simply make the palm safe.
We recommend, that this service be repeated at least every 6 months, to ensure safety of anyone and any property around the palms, though recurring service can be customized from every 3 months to annual.
