Kane’s Legacy Tree Services is a family owned and operated, Lahaina based company serving all of Maui County. As a full-scale tree company, we offer a variety of services from basic tree trimmings and removals to more technical services, such as trunk injections and crown restoration. Offerings are fully customizable to your needs and to assure your trees happiness.
As an ISA certified arborist, Jake Kane’s passion and knowledge for arboriculture has blossomed in the 12 years he’s been in Hawaii. Jake works hard to uphold the code and ethics set forth by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) by promoting these standards in the local tree culture and ensuring all employees are properly trained to uphold these standards.
We believe in hard work and getting the job done correctly the first time. Our goal is to leave Maui a better, more beautiful place for our future generations.

“Kane’s Legacy is the perfect example of a honest, hard working, and well run local business. The care and respect they have for their employees and customers is reflected in all aspects of their work. They have been maintaining the trees at our hotel for the last three years, after a larger Maui company did a hack job to our old growth False Kamani. Jake is an exceptional arborist, making sure that the trees will be able to flourish for years to come. “
“I’ve enjoyed working with Kane’s Legacy Tree Service for about 5 years now. Jake and his crew do a great job. They are very neat, clean, professional and safe. Jake is very prompt and responsive when I’ve contacted him about work I need done, most of the time calling within the same day. I look forward to working with Jake for many years to come.”
